More Trail Porn
Salem and I woke up early go to to Indian Hills to hike. The road to the trailhead started out alright, but a few miles in there was too much snow to reach the trailhead.
(It doesn’t look as much as it was, but up ahead the snow was nearly hood high and hadn’t been driven through.)
We drove back to Boulder and opted for a long walk rather than a hike. These are just pics we took along the way.
I know you are probably getting tired of all the trail pics, they all look a little the same. But I never forget how lucky I am to live among all this beauty, and I need to share it with someone. My husband has been here so long, he takes it for granted.
I hope your day was as peaceful as mine.

Never ever stop sharing things that make you happy. Those are the very things people like me like to read about.
Christina, I love your trail porn. I come from flat lands.. no mountains around. I’ve traveled to Colorado a few times. LOVE the mountains. Keep it coming! It is beautiful.
Such amazing view! And your dog made it too.
@Shadowrunner81 - Thank you
@eagerblue - I lived in Eastern South Dakota for 10 years before I moved here, so I understand! I am glad you like them, I will keep you in mind when I post them.
the title delivered. gorgeous scenery and you captured them well
@reckless_eagle - Thank you! He carried all the water!
@bonmots - Thank you! I am glad it didn’t disappoint!
amazing to see all that snow yet.
@promisesunshine - I was surprised myself. I expected snow and slush, but not that much. I had to back out nearly a mile in 4 wheel before I found a place I could turn around. Amazing it’s only a half hour from my house, and it was 75 down here!
Such beauty!
@UncCharlie - Thank you!
I don’t get tired of them. Then again, I tend to be a bit of trail addict, myself.
@RighteousBruin - That’s why I always seek out your posts! We do have this in common.
Looks like a beautiful place to hike!
@democrab - Thank you! It is a very pretty area.
Fantastic.
I’m not getting tired of the trail photos at all. I enjoy them. Do you run in regular running shoes, or hiking shoes or what? and a regular running outfit? just curious.
do you ever go camping?
Nope not getting tired of photos of the beautiful area you live in at all.
that is so beautiful
I, for one, never tire of these posts. TY for sharing. And give Salem a pat on the head for me.
Salem is having a grand old time. I like his back pack !
I love these Rocky Mountain posts!
I love the pics and love Salem. Salem is really cute.
Gods country is never the same from one place to the next. Each trail, body of water, rock formation, hill or mountain is unique unto itself.
Don’t ever stop taking pictures and sharing with us. This is how I see the beauty of the USA through someone elses eyes. I won’t be able to visit all of these places, although I do hope to see a few, so what better way than from people like you and @RighteousBruin and others?
The pictures are magnificent and truly awe inspiring. I SO love the pictures of Salem. One should never take the beauty around them for granted. It’s there for us to enjoy in every way we can.
As much as I love the mountains here, yours make them seem pretty small! These are wonderful trail pics!
Mountains and streams are nature’s most awesome erotic display!
@Shadowrunner81 - said it perfectly!!! I love that people share their life with me, in good times and bad both.
Beautiful Pictures!

I’ve missed yoru blogs!
HOw are you?
Your doggy is so pretty. I like his/her little back pack. At least there is nobody who enjoys the outdoors more than doggies.
What a stupid looking dog…… I bet he whines all the time and acts like a big baby! Dumb as a brick and trying to get by on his looks. I bet your husband is the same way.

Thank you!
@plantinthewindow - Hello! We haven’t gone camping yet this year, but plan to. I just dress in regular old running clothes and shoes. Sometimes I wear hiking shoes, well I used to, but they are heavy and clunky. I am just learning to be more nimble.
@catstemplar2 - Thanks! I like it too, once he puts it on he quits screwing around and carries my water!
@MzSilver - I agree, and glad you think so! I can’t see everything myself, so I am glad that other people will capture it in photos, too.
@heckels - @DrummingMediocrity - @Megabyyte - @lonelywanderer2 - @Aloysius_son - @slmret - Thank you!
