Have you ever been so mad
That you can think of little else? That the last thought in your mind before you fall asleep are angry ones, and you wake up every few hours dreaming of it? That you are so mad that you lie in bed for hours before your spouse wakes up fuming about what is upsetting you?
Have you ever been so mad that the incident that pissed you off originally was just the last straw? A dam of mad spills into you and you are mad about everything? Every slight you thought you had forgotten, every argument you thought you were over, every single thing that ever irritated you becomes part of the hate that is consuming you?
Have you ever questioned your own sanity, wondering where this fury erupted from? Wondering if you held this in for so long that now it has taken a life of its own and you can’t control it? Do you ever fear for the safety of those who pissed in your Wheaties?
What? You haven’t? Me either!

Phew. Ya had me worried there for a moment.
@HappierHeathen - I know, right? Only the “crazy people” do that!
Sounds like pms to me
@meddwl - Or crazy! And we all know I am not crazy!!
I’ve been one of those crazy people. I’ve never acted out, but I have felt the urge to carry out on that desire.
lol
However angry you can conceive in your wildest, ridiculous imaginings, I’ve been that angrier than that, but I had absolutely no question where the fury came from.
wow. made me angry just reading this.
I could have written this, sugar.
Maybe not quite THAT mad!
Haha — glad to see you! I hope you’re surviving the fires ok!
@feyenigma - You have more discipline than me..errr.. I mean than some people!
@aSeriesofFortunateEvents -
It must be an incredible experience to be that deeply in touch with yourself. I’ve seen others that continuously angry (not that I don’t get angry frequently and passionately; I do) and it was difficult for me to relate to.
@blonde_apocalypse - Someday I would like to hear the story, lady.
@promisesunshine - I actually thought of you when I found the last picture!
@Dippity - I am not obsessed, I am not obsessed, I am not.. Ah hell – you know better anyway
@whyzat - That’s really mad!!
@slmret - Hello Janet! Nice to see you too! So far the fires are south and east of us, let’s hope there’s rain sometime soon!
me? NEVER. but that last picture is a little nostalgic.
@BoulderChristina - ok. that’s a little scary. i assume this is firestarter?
@distractedbyzombies - Am I correct in interpreting you when I say you are calling me bat shit crazy?
@complicatedlight - Haha! We could spend hours talking about what we have never done!
@promisesunshine - No, but I see where you are going with that. It’s actually from a meme that says “You should have bought the damn cookies” – and you are the only one I know that works with kids so… That and the mischievous smile made me think of you
@BoulderChristina - hahaha! no.
Naw. Never. Ever. Never. Nope. Ha! Take some deep breaths! Find some weirdo (like me!) to laugh at! Have a cup of coffee! Take a long walk! Snuggle your granddaughter! Etc.!The mad-ness will subside! Trust me!HUGS!!!
Yup, but unlike you I have acted on it…..but I will say no more!,
@BoulderChristina - :)
@vexations - I can imagine you have a story or two to share!
@adamswomanback - I bet you can relate to exactly this type of madness! My “angry friend” is working on it, but could definitely use someone like you to have coffee with and laugh at!
well if your spouse woke up…i’d ask the condition of that wake up; what the potential survival rate of the wake-up and the subsequent evil eyes…i’ve never been there… but i’m pretty sure i’ve passed that point along the way to wherever itis i land – somewhere ‘hulk’-ish…;-Phope you are well bc. long time no convo…been busy in life here as well – not much xanga time…all my best.xp
I’ve seen that little girl before. Lol.
@xplorrn - Hey you! It’s been hard to keep up with blogging and life both, hasn’t it? Are you on WP yet? Here is my stuff: BoulderChristina.WordPress.com and BoulderChristina@gmail.com.I don’t want to lose track of you. Sorry I have been so neglectful!
@hombre_de_la_mancha - In your neighborhood, perhaps?
Thank goodness I eat Cheerios!
@BoulderChristina - I think she turned Japanese and I married her. Lol. Just kidding…
@BoulderChristina - I don’t personally know any crazy people. But if you should happen to find a machete with a green handle up around Horsetooth, be a dear and wipe it down with plenty of degreaser, if you don’t mind.
@HappierHeathen - You got it!
@hombre_de_la_mancha - I think we have all seen that look!
@ImNotUglyIJustNeedLove - That made me giggle – thanks!
This looks like the first page of a writing project. You must be writing a short story. Let’s flesh it out.. 1. Something terrible happened — what?2. Before you could cool off you did — what?3. In a surprise twist — what?3. ANSWER so you pissed in HER Wheaties.
well just recently I IMAGINED certain events occurring that woulda/coulda made me that mad…serial killer mad. (that’s how mad your post is, more or less). And from that contemplation of possible scenarios I realized that I have that deep down in my heart…that my heart is not pure, but, at bottom, that of serial killer who simply has not met up yet with the trigger stimulus that sets him off. So, it made me pray to God that I don’t run into a situation that would tap that part of me. “lead us not into temptation” I think your post is playing around with that too. I think it is basic human fallen nature that we all share, but some people have it buried deeper than other people, ….and some people have it very near the surface. Many black people have their anger much closer to the surface than I consider healthy, and more easily triggered than is normal for a social group. Slavery was a terrible sin. Women who have been raped have a hard time with this too. Selah!
You still have my cell #, if it ever does get to that point, right?
@RighteousBruin - I do – let’s hope I never need to call for bail!
@we_deny_everything - I like the way you think! The story is always unfolding…
I too have that angry friend. Good thing I’ve never felt that way! *passes along some tequila*
@WrappedinWishes2 - You and me lady, we got this shit under control!
@BoulderChristina - Yes, yes we do. Tequila!!
hahaha!
Not since they discontinued Gilligan’s Island. Okay now you triggered it all over! I’ll be tossing and turning again tonight.
ha ha ha. You are a riot. I am glad you are back.Seriously though, I have had a few moments like that. Just couldn’t help it. But the next morning, as usual, it was a different day!
oh yeah, baby. FUCK YEAH.
Noooo, I wouldn’t know ANYTHING about feeling like that
crosses that name off the darnitol sales campaign list
You had me wondering what you were upset about. Is your house anywhere near the fires in CO?
@TheSutraDude - You and me both!! I am sorry I brought it all up again..
@BoulderChristina - And the Addams Family. I won’t be able to sleep tonight!
More than I want to admit
nope, not me.that last photo is great!
Have had days like that only to be reminded that it really doesn’t matter at the end of day. With seeing the wild fires in you area, was a bit concerned for ya. Glad to see you’re alright. Off topic, have you been following what’s been happening here in Xanga?
Apart from not knowing what Wheaties are (and I expect they’re sold here under a different name) my answer is yes to everything. I can simmer over resentments going back to when I was about 6 or 7 if I’m in that groove. And usually it’s a night. Grrr.
me neither..yeah right actually it’s been a long time, I got over my self when little kids stopped walking by the house because there was a mean old woman yelling and hollerin and it scared the crap out of them…I’ve been putting up some old post…I think I’ll repost my mad blog today. Stay safe!
That happened one to me at age 74 and it really scared me.
@ZSA_MD - So great to see you again! You are lucky they went away overnight – “my friend” can’t seem to shake it!
You had my Yosemite Sam all stirred up there for a minute, I was ready to rumble. Good to see you post!
oh what femal hasent if they havet thier lieing im like the 24/7:)so watch out
@BoulderChristina - To be fair, I’m sure I was the cause of so much of that.
@thegunslingergirl - You and me both!
@starmanjones - You always make me giggle
@Shadowrunner81 - Not anymore, I moved to Fort Collins this month so I am much farther north.
@plantinthewindow - I liked that one, too!
@Zoz36 - I just found out this week, it’s so sad My wordpress site is BoulderChristina.WordPress.com, if you are on there
@holeinyoursoul - What is it about night time that brings it out in us, I wonder? All my crazy breaks loose when the sun goes down!
@mlbncsga - Did you post it? I have been having a hell of a time with Xanga, I either can’t stay on, or it locks… I will swing by and check
@HUMOR_ME_NOW - It’s as if your inner devil comes to life!
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Great to see you too, lady!
Once upon a time I would get that mad, then I learned to seek solutions rather than dwell on the frustration. Often just changing my attitude lead to a better understanding of what made me angry and I was able to resolve the conflict with very little to no bloodshed .Getting angry usually resulted in me getting hurt more than hurting the thing making me angry. Funny thing anger.
Just me. Just stoppin’ by with some hugs for you…Cool HUGS!!! How are you doing?!
